About Social Habit
Formed in Big Bear Lake in 2020, Social Habit is a three-piece punk band built on friendship, high energy, and a genuine love for making music.
The band came together in early high school, with brothers Maks Hanson on bass and lead vocals and Kolten Hanson on drums, alongside their long time friend Josh Adamik on guitar and backup vocals. What started as a group of friends playing music has grown into a tight-knit band that brings plenty of energy, personality, and fun to everything they do.

Their sound blends the raw attitude and fast-paced energy of classic Southern California punk—drawing inspiration from bands like Bad Religion, Pennywise, and NOFX—with influences from modern hard rock and metal. The result is a sound that's aggressive when it needs to be, melodic when it wants to be, and always unmistakably Social Habit.
